PWOSO Golf Outing
Public Works Officials of Southwest Ohio has partnered with Matthew 25 Ministries for our annual golf outing. This event is held every year for the benefit of Matthew 25 Ministries and their work with the poorest of the poor and disaster victims. Over the past several years, PWOSO has been able to donate $75,000 from the golf outing and raffles to the Matthew 25 Ministries.
Save the Date: The PWOSO Annual Golf Outing for 2026 will be held June 5th at the Glenview Golf Course. Same location as 2025. Hope to see you there in 2026.
During the regular monthly meeting held on Thursday August 21st, the Golf Committee presented a check to Mathew 25 Ministries for $10,000.00. The funds came from the profits from the golf outing held in June 2025. Joodi Archer accepted the check for M25M. We are immensely proud to partner with M25M this year and in the future.
At the regular monthly PWOSO meeting on August 21st, the Scholarship Committee awarded 2 checks for $500.00 each to the scholarship winners for 2025. The winners are Connor Yeager and Maddy Rider. Connor will be attending Mt. Saint Joseph University and Maddy will be attending Kent State University. Congratulations to both winners and good luck in their future endeavors.
What We Offer
PWOSO is made up of Service Directors, Public Works Directors, Superintendents, Supervisors, Foremen, Vendors, and others. Let’s not forget those invaluable retirees who still participate and share their years of knowledge and experience.
Public Works Officials of Southwest Ohio has a scholarship fund, hosts an Annual Snowplow Rodeo Training Extravaganza, and an Annual Golf Outing Fund Raiser. PWOSO is another tool to better your organization and have fun interacting with other entities.
